BlackSwan

My latest project was created for the theme “Fairy Tale Monsters.” I chose to reinterpret the Black Swan from "Swan Lake", exploring the moment when the dancer physically transforms into the creature she portrays on stage.

With only one month to complete the project, my goal was to create a highly detailed and realistic character, with a strong focus on sculpting and texturing. I wanted to achieve a believable level of realism while maintaining the elegance and dramatic presence of the Black Swan.

This project was also an opportunity to challenge myself technically, as it was my first time creating a feather groom in Houdini and my first experience with cloth simulation. Both aspects pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me a tremendous amount throughout the process, making it an incredibly rewarding experience.
